Playground is a CREATIVE LAB where imagination meets cutting-edge technology and AI a space to experiment, innovate, and bring original ideas to life for film, series, and streaming.
Our journey began in PRODUCTION, where we laid the foundation for bringing ideas to life. From there, we moved into DIRECTING, translating vision into action on set. As our storytelling evolved, we opened a new world with EDITING, where we learned to shape rhythm, tone, and emotion. DESIGN soon followed, revealing the power of visuals, and BRANDING to amplify a narrative’s reach and impact.
Step by step, we realized it’s not just about executing individual parts, it’s about telling the whole story.
CHARLIE CARTAYA / DIRECTOR - PLAYGROUND
Award-winning Director, known for crafting compelling and emotionally resonant visual storytelling. With over 20 years of experience in Production, Post-production and Branding for hundreds of leading brands, he possesses deep expertise in audiovisual operations, post, design, branding strategies, and the full creative process.
Leveraging cutting-edge technology and AI, he optimizes workflows, enhances creative precision, and accelerates response times, ensuring every project achieves maximum impact without compromising quality.
He has led commercial projects across the United States, Canada, Latin America, and Europe, establishing himself as an effective team leader who blends creativity, strategic thinking, and technical sophistication to deliver high-impact results.
His most recent work, the series “La Fuerza del Creer 4”, received a Children’s and Family Emmy® Award and was nominated for Outstanding Family Series, reaffirming his commitment to excellence and socially relevant content. Widely recognized for his professional ethics, integrity, and stellar reputation in the industry.
MÓNICA MOLA / CASTING DIRECTOR
Mónica Mola is an award-winning Casting Director with over 20 years of experience in advertising, television, and film. Born in Colombia and raised in Venezuela, she began her career in production before discovering her true passion in casting.
After moving to Miami in 2000, she founded Mónica Mola Casting (MMC) and quickly became a trusted name for commercials and scripted content across the U.S., Latin America, Europe, and Asia. Her work spans reality shows, films, and streaming series, always marked by her keen eye for talent and cultural nuance.
In 2024, Mónica’s casting work was honored with an Emmy® Awards, recognizing her ability to deliver diverse, high-impact casts for international productions.
MARTA GONZALEZ / EXECUTIVE PRODUCER - PLAYGROUND DOMINICANA / DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
Marta González is a distinguished Executive Producer and partner based in the Dominican Republic, with a dynamic background as a TV and film actress, seasoned on-camera host, live presenter, and commercial model. With over a decade of experience in the media industry, she has developed a keen eye for compelling storytelling and audience engagement.
Originally from the Dominican Republic, Marta holds a degree in Journalism from the Universidad Católica de Santo Domingo. She has also pursued advanced training in radio, acting, and television journalism at respected institutions such as the University of Miami and CEA Televisa, and has studied under industry luminaries like Adriana Barraza and Lori Wyman.
As an Executive Producer, Marta combines creative vision with production expertise to lead projects from concept to completion. Her unique blend of artistic talent and strategic leadership makes her a powerful force in crafting content that resonates across cultures and platforms.
